Specialist Gosport boatyard Endeavour Quay has welcomed S.Y. Yali today as she returned to her original birthplace. The 77 foot (23.5m) ketch, originally christened Kathleen, was built at the Camper & Nicholsons’ yard in 1925 and today made use of the modern day facilities now in place, namely the 180 tonne boat lift. It was all hands on deck as the Endeavour Quay team including Operations Director Mark Bowden and Boatyard Manager Tim Newell aided the 5.4m wide vessel safely into the hoist before she was lifted for a keel inspection. Gruppo Permare, builders of Amer superyachts, has just released a photo of the hull of the first Amer 100 superyacht, which arrived at the yard this week, to be completed. The Amer Cento measures 100 ft, and is based on the yard's award winning 92' and 116' series. The yacht will feature several innovative features, such as balconies, a bow Jacuzzi and outdoor access to wheelhouse by means of a gull wing door.   The Amer Cento can cruise using just one engine at 12 knots, with a fuel consumption of just 90 liters per 100 nautical miles. She was the first yacht built by Kingship, and also the first yacht in Asia compliance to Lloyd’s and MCA classification. Relentless is designed by Ward Setzer and Sea Quest as the naval architect. Moonen Brokerage in the Netherlands has announced the sale of the pre-owned Moonen 84 Eleonora. This is the second occasion that this fine motoryacht has been through the books of Moonen Brokerage and represents the third major superyacht sale by Robert Drontmann from Moonen Brokerage this year. Originally commissioned as Sofia, Eleonora is one of the highly successful Moonen 84 semi-series that set a new standard in the ‘pocket sized superyacht’ sector during the previous decade.
