Bequia (The Big Little Island)

Just seven square miles in size, but with a real life of its own, this exquisite Caribbean jewel is the first link in the chain known as the Grenadines that runs between the two island states of St. Vincent and Grenada. Bequia is at once small enough to get to know, and to feel at home in, yet large enough to provide surprising variety. Port Elizabeth, the main town and clearance point nestles in the curve of Bequia's famous yachting anchorage, Admiralty Bay.

Sailing is in the blood of many Bequians and if you visit in the early spring you may be in time for the Bequia Sailing Regatta.
