According to the Palm Beach Post, 104-foot La Diva caught fire on the water near Rybovich in West Palm Beach, Florida, in the early morning hours on Sunday, June 27.
The Palm Beach Post reports that the boat apparently was returning from The Bahamas when the crew on board noticed an exhaust leak and headed to the dock at Rybovich. Fire broke out on board and the crew escaped the vessel once they'd reached shore. Emergency responders arrived and attempted to control the fire; one firefighter was slightly injured.
The damage reportedly was extensive, but no fuel leaks have been reported.
