When it comes to yachting, summer is known as a slow time of the year for areas of the world like Florida and the Caribbean. The sweltering 
heat drives many yachts farther north to seasonal areas such as New England and Canada. A number of yachts also make the long trip to the Mediterranean region which is also experiencing a busy period.
